Karl E. Black, JD, DVM
Karl E. Black, JD, DVMDr. Black is a native Dallisite and graduated from Greenhill School in 1979. Although veterinary medicine was his earliest aspiration, his professional life took other paths for several years. Dr. Black attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M and graduated in 1996. He began practicing veterinary medicine at Park Cities Animal Hospital soon after. Since that time, he has enjoyed the satisfaction and rewards that come from doing what he loves most, which is caring for companion animals and their people.

Over the 25 years that Dr. Black has been working in the veterinary field, he has most loved seeing the human/animal bond in action.

During his free time, Dr. Black enjoys motorcycles and spending time with his daughter Kate.  They have 2 cats named Axle and Target.
